| Customer Reviews: Just what i wanted October 17, 2009 A. Nicolas (NYC) Alright i purchased this a couple of months ago, i am teaching myself guitar and am having alot of fun and i believe im doing well with it. This is what i expected from my purchase:
-Small size because i am not a musician i just want to learn it and play it. I can walk around the house or head out with it and carry it comfortably in one hand
-I expected to change the strings because this is advertised as a child's learning guitar but to my suprise the strings were great quality to fit my standards of "learning to play"
What i recieved was better than i expected, my little sister had the 5 year old model and this old model i first picked up and was the deciding factor for which brand of guitar i buy to learn. Significant improvements for safety and it feels alot less delicate which is great for someone who walks around alot with it.
You might like to know that this guitar comes with a bunch of cards to help you start playing right away, i never used them lol but i appreciated this.
Do not be alarmed by the quality of the box,it really looks like a toy the way they packaged this thing, but when i first held it and tuned it up a little, I knew i would have no regrets.
$32.00 spent and I am learning to play guitar and am able to play my favorite rythms...this is the best deal for simple people like me

I bought this for my 7 year old grandson. I love the size and the design. Needless to say he is so proud of his "own" guitar.
Very well made, indeed.
Awesome first guitar! December 3, 2008 S. Wintermantel 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 8 year old son. He opened it up on his birthday was so tickled to have his own "real" guitar! This guitar has held up and it's very durable. Of course a few strings have broken, but I expected that and they are pretty easy to change.
If you are wavering about this guitar, don't. It is well worth the price.
