Takamine ES31C Jasmine Review June 14, 2010 James L. Bridgeman (Roanoke Rapids, NC) Nice feel. Strings are not up to par but sounds really good with a set of Elixirs. I would reccommend this guitar to anyone trying to learn and not wanting to tie up a lot of money until you do learn.
Nice guitar June 9, 2010 Flyer X (Schererville, IN USA) I have been playing over 40 years. This guitar plays great right out of the box. The first guitar I did not need to make adjustments to. It sounds good too despite having only a gain and tone control. I recommend it.
nice sounding guitar March 14, 2010 BRYANT POWELL (utah, US) now, i have a nice guitar for visitors to use.
i have this in my house when others come to play.
am glad i got it... got no complaints about the price
nor the shipping, it's condition... everything was and is good !
Worse Than Expected... August 25, 2009 C. Scrimshire (USA) 2 out of 13 found this review helpful
when i bought this guitar i wasn't expecting much, due to the price, but it was way worse than i expected. It showed up and as soon as i pulled it out of the box, i could see that every string was rusty. i tried it out anyway. when i strum every single string buzzed. i figured it just needed tunning to tighten the strigns. that was not the case. every string buzzed at the top. its just not worth buying. you have to work too much to get it right
I'm just a beginner April 2, 2009 Kelli (Orem, UT) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I'm a beginner so I don't know a lot about guitars but my husband plays and he seems pleased with it. Also, it's a really good looking guitar. We just tuned it and I think I'm gonna love it.
On a side note, don't buy this guitar thinking it is one that has a built in tuner with the electrics cause it doesn't. Guitars with those are usually a bit more expensive. Other than that, it is great!
