| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Godin LGX-SA has enjoyed tremendous success and there is no doubt that the acoustic bridge and synth access have contributed to the LGX-SA's popularity. However, there is also no doubt that if it wasn't first and foremost a great guitar then the extra bells and whistles wouldn't matter. With that in mind along with countless requests from guitar players Godin has launched the LG Signature. Essentially an LGX minus the 'X', the LG Signature features a mahogany neck that is generous in girth but retains the comfort of a smaller neck thanks to Godin's ergocut shaping technique. The use of a 25.5" scale in a mahogany guitar produces a best-of-both-worlds kind of combination. A new 5-way switching configuration and a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers helps to make the most of the LG Signature's considerable potential. Of course, it wouldn't be a Godin Signature Series guitar if it didn't boast the stunning good looks of a carved flame maple top.

| Customer Reviews: Great and Way Overlooked Guitar July 25, 2006 Anthony (seattle, WA) I got my LGX-SA about 4 years ago and it has been an awesome guitar. The best part about it is people seeing it and going: "what is that?" They play it and go: "wow, how come i've never heard of this brand?" The guitar looks beautiful and plays great. It plays way different than a Gibson or Fender. I would relate it to a PRS or Parker. Some say its a little harder to play than a Gibson, but once you get use to it, it becomes very comfortable. The acoustic pic up sounds pretty good. I wouldnt say its the best pic up out there, but its nice to have on the guitar and is highly adjustable. You can get a pretty good sound out of it depending on what amp you are using.
My guitar has the custom seymour duncans on them. You can get a really nice clean sound out of them, but if you want a heavier sound you can get pretty strong EMG type sound as well. Very versatile pick ups.
The only thing I dont like about this guitar is the weight. Its pretty heavy and if you dont have a little muscle on your shoulder you may get tired after a while.
I have never used the synth on this guitar. I didnt buy it for the synth, I bought it for the overall quality and beauty. I will however try it out once I can afford the stupid Roland thing that costs an arm and a leg.
