Product Description
Taylor Swift's Fearless Baby: The Taylor Swift Baby Taylor Guitar (TSBT) Inspired by memories of writing songs on her Baby Taylor, country pop sensation Taylor Swift collaborated with Taylor Guitars to design a signature Baby Taylor model. The Taylor Swift Baby Taylor (TSBT) features standard Baby Taylor specs, embellished by Swift's custom, screen-printed rosette design.
Taylor Swift: Singer, Songwriter, Actress, and Guitar Designer Country-pop princess Taylor Swift unveils her signature Taylor Swift Taylor Baby (TSBT) guitar that's perfect for the singer-songwriters of tomorrow. | Taylor Swift designed the Taylor Swift Baby Taylor (TSBT) Guitar because she wanted to share her passion for playing guitar with her fans. | All About the Taylor Swift Taylor Baby Guitar (TSBT)
At three-quarters the size of Taylor Guitar's standard dreadnought, and with a slim 1 11/16-inch neck and a comfortable, compact shape, the guitar is just right for both the littlest player’s hands and anyone who likes to pick up and play on the go. Like the original Baby Taylor, the TSBT is crafted from sapele laminate back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top.
The custom design is all Swift's, featuring her well-known expression "Love, Love, Love" among delicate vines that encircle the soundhole. To commemorate the songwriting spirit of her album, the guitar features the word "Fearless" along with Swift's signature inscribed above the bridge.
Taylor Swift Talks About the Taylor Swift Baby Taylor (TSBT)
"I wanted to share my passion for playing guitar with my fans," Taylor Swift said.
"For a beginner, finding the right guitar can be intimidating, but this guitar, it's the perfect size. Even if you've been playing for years, it's a great size to travel with. I used to sit in the back seat of the rental car while I was on my radio tour at 16, writing songs on my Baby Taylor. I love the sound, and I love those memories."
The 19-year-old singer-songwriter, who has shared a close relationship with Taylor Guitars since she was just a precocious, aspiring preteen with very big dreams, has blossomed into one of music's most successful acts. Her sophomore album Fearless (whose release Swift celebrated at the Taylor Guitars factory last November) debuted on the Billboard Hot 200 at the top spot and has since gone on to sell over 4 million copies. Recently, she surpassed the 10 million mark for total albums sold and over 20 million paid downloads--more than any artist in country music history. Her headline tour this year included a recent sold-out show at New York's Madison Square Garden, where each song was accompanied by legions of singing and screaming fans, who at one point gave Swift a four-minute standing ovation.
In the Box: 1 Taylor Swift Baby Taylor (TSBT) Guitar, 1 Taylor Gig Bag
More About the Baby Taylor The Baby Taylor is the ultimate travel companion, delivering volume and tone that surprise for its diminutive dimensions. At three-quarters the size of a full-sized guitar, the Baby Taylor lives for the road. It also loves little hands, which makes it an irresistible choice for kids taking lessons.

Best travel guitar avaliable, and a fine guitar as well. February 5, 2010 Red Badge 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have several Taylor guitars, and have owned a Big Baby for several years. I own several travel guitars (including the Martin) and the Taylor is the only one that sounds like a real guitar. Another reviewer suggests her Taylor doesn't stay in tune, but also mentions it was damaged in transit. My Big Baby is used for Youth Group bible study and has sat out on a stand for years and I can say it rarely needs retuning unless it's played a lot and hard. Then again, I maintain a consistent relative humidity in my house. Bottom line, it's a quality though relatively inexpensive instrument. You're not going to find anything any better in this price range. Like any wood instrument it will be impacted by changes in temperature and humidity.
How small is it? Well, it's smallish, yet very playable. If the person playing it is on the smaller side it is a perfect size. Far better than trying to play my Taylor full-size dreadnought.
As far as the Swift commemorative design, that is a matter of taste. The regular Baby Taylor is a bit boring looking, as all of the effort was put into making a quality product as inexpensive as possible. I personally think the Swift looks nice. And if Swift's meteoric rise in popularity doesn't go to her head, this model may be desirable some day. I suspect a high-end Swift commemorative may follow.
Good but could be better February 3, 2010 Jenny M. Christian (Woodbridge, VA United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've had this guitar for a couple of weeks. My first impression is that it is cheaply made, but still pretty sturdy. The tone is ok for such small guitar and the gig bag and size are great for throwing it in the car for a quick trip. Overall, its not a bad guitar, the neck is smooth and easy to play, and it's plenty loud for campfires. But, for some reason I just can't seem to keep it in tune. I tune it up and the next day, its out of tune again. If I play for an hour, its out of tune already. So, mainly for that reason, and it came to me damaged in shipment, I am going to return it and continue on my search for a quality guitar that I can travel with as well. I hate to return it because I'm a huge taylor fan, as I have 3-4 Taylors and I wanted to remain loyal to my brand, but in this case, I'm going to have to pass. I may try to get an older USA made one to see if that makes a difference. But, I still recommend this guitar to y'all if you don't mind tuning it up more often. :-)
High quality guitar February 2, 2010 getting educated at 40 (Riverside, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a beautiful high quality guitar that I purchased for my daughter because of her love for Taylor Swift. The Taylor Swift signature and logo have been beautifully added. My daugher's guitar teacher is a seasoned professional and he is very impressed with the quality of sound from this small guitar. The size is perfect for a young person just starting in music, it is easily handled and her arms fit easily around it. It comes with a great case that is light weight and easy to carry. I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone interested in purchasing a guitar for a child and it is also good for adults that want a small guitar to play while riding in a vehicle or while in some other small space. Cool Guitar November 9, 2009 Janet Graczewski 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
When I first opened the box and saw this guitar I was not sure I made the right choice. Since I already own a couple of folk guitars, I wanted something a bit different. And believe it or not, this Taylor Swift guitar delivers! I am thrilled with the sound from it, and I am getting acclimated to the slimness and feel of it. It also helps that my husband, Chris, sits there and totally laughs at me! He says I'm not into collecting shoes, rather, I'm into collecting guitars! Love, love, love this guitar!
